Pembina Valley Snowkickers

A check stop was conducted by The Pembina Valley Snowkickers on Sat. Feb. 27th with
RCMP and a CO in charge. Results were: 26 sleds stopped, 3 tickets issued for not having
a Snopass, 1 warning for an unregistered sled (has 5 days to register and report back),
and 3 verbal warnings for failure to attach their plate.

Remember everyone, a Snowpass is compulsory on the Snowkicker\Snowman trails and
a $474 is the charge for riding without!

On Saturday Feb. 6 the Pembina Valley Snowkickers, along with DNR performed a
checkstop by La Riviere. 55 snowmobiles were stopped with 54 of them being perfectly
legal. Congratulations, it's great to see everyone having a SnowPass.

On Saturday Jan. 30 the Snowkickers, along with the DNR and RCMP conducted a
checkstop south west of Mordon. 35 machines were stopped and only 1 was
found to not have a SnowPass. He was issued a $474 fine and had to purchase
a $135 SnowPass. Congratulations to all those who had a pass. A picture of the checksotp

The Feb. 2nd early bird winners were drawn with Gerald Rondeau of Somerset
winning the 50 plasma TV. Barry Funk of Crystal City won the 8GB I-Pod
Touch.

Don't forget, get your tickets now for the Grand prize draw of $30,000 and
also a 50" plasma TV and a Blue Ray player drawn on Feb. 27/10. Dance

Snoflies Poker Derby in Carman, MB. Feb 13/’10 – 10 am start at the Carman Legion
Auxiliary Hall.
